Craig Charles de Montigny passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 14, 2012. Age 41 years. He was born November 23, 1970 in Nashua, New Hampshire. Craig was employed as a power plant operator at Midland Co-Generation Venture. He was a member of the Utility Workers Union of America Local # 564. Craig had a love for animals, the outdoors, playing sports and shooting pool. His greatest love was spending time with his son, Cannon, and being with family and friends. He graduated from T.L. Handy in 1989.
Craig is survived by his mother and father; Wendy and Jerry Casault, his son; Cannon Charles de Montigny, his longtime love and mother of his child; Jeaneen Hatlak, three sisters and one brother-in-law; Jennifer and Jay Kipfmiller, Jessica Gracey and Jerolyn Casault, his nieces and nephews; Kirstie Kipfmiller, Kailie Kipfmiller, Makenzi Gracey, Isabella Gracey and Xander Casault. His close cousin and friend; David Parkhurst and many other cousins and close friends. Craig was preceded in death by his father; Gerald C. de Montigny.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Rev. Jeff Engelhart will officiate with cremation following. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Wishes of the Family for an educational fund that will be set up in the future for his son, Cannon.
