Jane Ann (Campbell) Yurgaites, 72, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Toni & Trish House in Fisherville. She was born September 8, 1944 in Bay County the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Babinski) Campbell.
Jane was a graduate of T.L. Handy High School in 1963 and on May 11, 1968 she married Wayne J. Yurgaites in Fisherville. She had been a sales associate for J.C. Penney’s and was also a Teller at Auburn Bank for many years. A member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Jane enjoyed fishing, gardening, and traveling with her family.
She is survived by her husband Wayne of Midland and her daughter Karla Yurgaites of Ypsilanti; nieces and nephews: Keifer Yurgaites, Jamie Werner and Shannon Magro and sister-in-law Patty Smith of Bellaire. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Claire Yurgaites.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Maksym as celebrant. Jane’s family will receive friends at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street on Friday from 2-5 & 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass. A vigil for the deceased will take place 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Midland Humane Society.
