Kimberly Ann Long, age 59, passed away January 5, 2021. She was born in Tawas City Michigan April 4, 1961 to the late Calvin J. and Phyllis “Peg” Long. Kim enjoyed writing and singing in a gospel group with her sisters. She was a former receptionist at Redi Med and studied social work at SVSU, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2015. She graduated from T.L. Handy in 1979.
Kim is survived by her daughter, Heather Wright – McGregor and husband Toseland of Calgary Alberta Canada; granddaughter, Althea Lorraine Wright-McGregor; sisters, Denise(Stephen) Bennett of Chambersburg PA, Kelly Schneider of Saginaw MI; half-sisters, Connie (Harold) Miller of Bay City MI, Patrice Baker of Jacksonville FL, Carolyn Dunkirk of West Branch MI; half-brother, Richard Long of Manistee MI; nieces, Denee (Tim) Reder, Leslie Batschke, Lisa (Chris) Davis, and Mandy (Keith) Jenkins; nephews, Brady Schneider, Scott (Cheryl) Miller, Christopher Baker, and Matthew (Kelly) Long. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Worthy and Ruth Long, and L J and Myrtle “Florence” Gould. A Memorial Service will be at Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1:00 P.M., and visiting will be held from 11:00 A.M until the time of service.
