Jay Mitchell Mathewson, 58, passed away at his home in Midland on Jan. 7, 2013. He graduated from T.L. Handy in 1972.
Jay is survived by his wife, Melanie Mathewson; his three daughters, Summer Mathewson, AuBree Cherry and Karris Hayes; as well as six grandchildren; two sisters; and three brothers. He worked at Bay Medical Center for 36 years. Due to his wishes, no services will be held.
