Graduating from T.L. Handy High School in 1988, Omaka excelled in track and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He set several records during his time at T.L. Handy, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. As of 2024, he still holds the Bay County 200-meter dash record at an impressive 21.39 seconds, a testament to his remarkable athleticism and enduring legacy.
Omaka dedicated many years of service as a hi/low operator at Hatch Stamping Company, demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.
Beyond his professional life, Omaka found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid supporter of Michigan State University sports and enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and kayaking. A skilled grill master, he took pride in perfecting his culinary creations, often shared with loved ones during gatherings.
