Bryon D. Austin passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region, age 49. He was born March 30, 1965 in Bay City to the late Gordon C. and Marjorie J. (Potter) Austin. Bryon graduated from TL Handy High School in 1983 and then attended Delta College for skilled trades. He married Amy S. White on October 1, 1988 in St. Mary’s Church and she survives him. Bryon was employed with Dresco Machine in Bay City for 30 years and enjoyed motorcycles and restoring cars. He was a devoted family man and will forever be held close in the hearts of all who loved him.
Surviving besides his wife, Amy are two sons, Alexander and Spenser Austin and two brothers, Tim (Shirley) and Kevin (Teri) Austin. Bryon was predeceased by three brothers: Robert, Jamison and Matthew Austin and his grandparents, Albert (Bertha) Austin.
The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00am at the Squires Funeral Home. Linda Studniarz will officiate and interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday after 10:00 am. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials “Family Wishes.”
