Michael George Bickham, Sr, age 73, died of natural causes on April 20, 2016, in Linwood, MI. Mike is survived by his wife, Carol, of Tawas City, Mi who celebrated their 50TH wedding Anniversary this past September. He is also survived by his three sons, Michael Bickham Jr (Tammy) of Bay City, Scott Bickham (Kristen) of Midland, Eric Bickham (Amy) of Auburn and his daughter, Coryn Lewicki (Chris) of Auburn along with ten Grandchildren Jacqueline, Michael III, and Jeremy Bickham; Amber Sawyer (Brad), Eden, and Carolyn Lewicki; Taylor and Mason Bickham; Hunter and Evan Bickham; along with one great Grandchild Maria Sawyer. Mike also has three sisters: Mary Palmer of Pinconning; Joyce Louchart of Tawas City; June Voisine of Bay City; along with two brothers, Robert Bickham of Bay City; and Bill Bickham (Peggy) of Tawas City.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Alice Bickham, of Bay City. Mike Bickham was born on May 24TH 1942 in Bay City, MI. He graduated from TL Handy High School in 1961. He served four years in the US Navy. He was employed for 30 plus by General Motors of Bay City from which he retired in 1998. His passions were his children, grandchildren, great grandchild, the outdoors, and golfing.
A funeral is scheduled for 11:00am on Monday April 25TH 2016, at Grace Lutheran Church, Auburn MI with a reception to follow. Rev. David Hakes and Rev. Stephen Schilke will officiate. Private family burial will take place in Home Cemetery (Monitor Twp.). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mike’s life. In Lieu of flowers please consider donations to the American Heart Association. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. with visitation on Sunday April 24TH 2016 from 1:00pm-7:00pm and then at the CHURCH on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
