James N. Wilinski passed away April 29, 2021. He was born on November 23, 1934 to the late John and Beatrice (Geiger) Wilinski in Bay City Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Mary K. Wilinski whom he married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and they shared 63 years of marriage. Left behind to cherish his memory are his three children, one son, James M. Wilinski; two daughters, Pamela (Ivan) Miller and Ann (Jeff) Heppner; eight grandchildren, Courtney and Ivan Miller, Nathan Bennett, Gideon and Caleb Heppner, Andrew (Justis) Heppner, Matthew Heppner, and Brianne (Derek) Tober; three great-grandchildren, Emerson, Charlotte and Ava; his brother, Richard (Louise) Wilinski, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Jack Young.
He graduated from T.L. Handy High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve. He retired from GM powertrain in Bay City and was a big Detroit Lions and MSU fan. He also enjoyed working outside in his backyard.
Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
