Laurie was born on July 24, 1971 in Bay City, the daughter of William Meyer and Patricia Schultz-Pawlak. Laurie, known to many as “The Facilitator” graduated from T.L. For their first date, they went to The Chappelle Show in 2007, ended up falling in love, and were united in marriage on July 22, 2011. Those who knew Laurie, knew she had a knack for rock hunting, gold prospecting, jewelry, coins, music, documentary watching, geology, genealogy, and going for walks. She was the most awesome mother to her two beautiful daughters, Alexis and Kelsey, and step-daughter, Sydney. Laurie loved being a grandma to her sweet Nova Lynn; her family truly was the light of her life. Above all, Laurie had the ability to connect with all sorts of people from all walks of life.
