Brent Ronald Yurgaites, The death of our son, brother, friend, cousin, nephew will change us forever. We will miss his warm, caring, fun loving personality. We only wish we could have said goodbye to him. March 4, 1971 the world was made a better place. June 14, 2018 heaven was made a better place! Brent only had 47 years on earth but what a difference he made.
Brent was a man of many talents: he was an accomplished musician music was his whole life. He was once voted the best lead guitar player in Midland, Saginaw and Bay County but, he never bragged about himself. He enjoyed seeing people having a good time. Cooking was his second love. When he created a special dish for us he always put in a pinch of hot sauce or spice to “kick it up a notch”. He took pride in his work learning from his dad to do a job the right way not cutting corners. He was a great role model for being a hard worker giving it his “all”. We all could count on him. His friends will surely miss his energy and enthusiasm. He loved kids would have made a wonderful dad. He had a special place in his heart for the elderly especially the “little old ladies”. And his love for animals was never ending. He was never without a pet or two.
Brent graduated from T.L. Handy High in 1989.
Left to cherish him are his parents, Ron and Nancy Yurgaites and his sister, Lisa Leisentritt as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and fans. He was preceded in death by his god son, A.J. Leisentritt, paternal grandparents, John and Alice Yurgaites and his maternal grandparents, Jim and Elaine Monaghan. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Patrick M.
