James Lee McCarty, 71 of Bay City, MI passed away peacefully Monday March 21, 2016 at the Toni & Trish Hospice home in Auburn, MI. Jim was born August 11, 1944 in Bay City, where he lived his entire life. He attended TL Handy High School and then went on to honorably serve his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool.
Preceded in Death by his parents Kenneth E & Helen M McCarty, his son Tom McCarty, as well as his sister Elizabeth Lagrow. Survived by his sons James McCarty, Kent McCarty, and Tim (Lisa) McCarty. Brothers Gordon (Linda) McCarty, Ken (Ivone) McCarty, Chris McCarty, & sister Nancy Morse. Also, Grand Children, One Great Grand Child, and many nieces & nephews….. Cremation has taken place following James wishes.
