Orville Joseph Reno, Jr., age 78 years, passed away on May 15, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region. He was born in Bay City on January 15, 1937 to the late Orville J. and Lillian (Coberly) Reno. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from the Bay City Public School System. On November 11, 1967, he married the former Janet Wiles in Bay City and she survives him. He also leaves a son, O.J. Reno, III, a grandson, Nathan, as well as four nephews: Jeffrey (Jen) Wiles, James Stein, William Reno and Jack Reno and his lifetime near and dear friend, Ross Roeder. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. He graduated from T.L. Handy in 1955.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. The Rev. Fr. Jack Johnson will preside. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
