Ray Good, Sr., 71, of Bay City, our kind, caring, quiet, loving, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away suddenly on Monday, December 14, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region.
Ray was born on December 1, 1949 in Bay City, the son of the late Marvin and Doris (Hasenburg) Good. Ray graduated from T. L. Handy High School, class of 1969 and went on to work at Grey Iron Foundry Plant for General Motors for over 36 years. On September 13, 1975, Ray married the love of his life, the former Kay Ann Valley, in the home they built. Together they shared over 45 years, three wonderful sons, six beautiful grandchildren, and countless memories. Ray enjoyed antiquing – looking for unique cameras, exploring garage sales, and making candles. Above all, Ray loved time spent with his family, he will be missed dearly.
Ray leaves to cherish his memory, his beautiful wife, Kay and their sons, Ray (Jessica) Good, Jr., Timothy (Sara) Good, and Brian (Steffanie) Good. Ray was the most amazing grandpa to Braydon, Abrielle, Abraham, Coralie, Tyrus, and Kipton. He also leaves his siblings, Linda Hadd, Duane Good, and Marvin Good, Jr.; in-laws, Ruth Luptowski, Faye and John Lipinski, and Ray and Marge Valley. Ray was welcomed home to heaven by his father, Marvin Good and mother, Doris Good Herron.
